We hatched out our Rainbow Dozen hatching eggs and are making them available as day old chicks.
We will include chicks that hatched Ameraucana, Bloomy Orps, Bloomy Marans, Dark Marans and Dark Olives.
Bloomy Orps lay a very light taupe or brown covered in a solid bloom. They have a slight pink look to them with a bloom. These are a third generation that consistently produce a bloom and could be a great start to your bloom project or you can continue to breed them true.
Dark brown egg layers with blooms look purple while light brown eggs with blooms look pink. We hatched our bloomy eggs and put them in one pen under roosters that hatched from dark or bloomy eggs. These chicks are not from a cross pen these blooms come from Black Copper Marans.
Olive eggs come from 5 different generations of olive egger crossing. We only include the darkest in this test hatch and make those chicks available to you. Whether they turn out to be male or female they will add very dark and deep olives to your project.
Any hens that hatched from our olive eggs have a 50/50 chance of laying a darker olive or darker brown egg.
We feed our girls only the best chemical free certified organic feed.
