Eggs on the left are from my pairing (yes they have a little red hue) and the eggs on the right are from Black Copper Marans CHICKS I purchased from another breeder. I will say, those chicks (now grown) are closer to SOP than anything I have seen from a hatchery bird so it all depends on your goals. Just some food for thought.
