We hatched out our Blush & Bloom Dozen hatching eggs and are making them available as day old chicks.
The 12 chicks include 3 of each: BBS Ameraucana, Ermine Ameraucana, Bloomy Orps, and Backcrossed Olives.
All of the birds will breed true except for the Olive Eggers. The olive offspring will lay a slightly darker brown or olive egg (50/50 chance). These come from a line that can produce a light bloom.
The bloomy eggs on the end is a 3rd generation and they have, for us, consistently produced this speckling bloom. It has never evened out and been solid in this line, always speckled in appearance. It is not a hybrid you will get a Jubilee Orpington from these eggs.
The Ameraucana will be either Ermine Dominant White, Black or Ermine while the BBS Ameraucana will be black, blue or splash. We have no way of knowing in advance what colors will be produced for the hatch.
We feed our girls only the best chemical free certified organic feed.
