Look at that she went from spitting and sputtering to a smooth bloom! When you back cross your olive eggers in the pursuit of darker olive eggers, half will lay brown and half will lay olive. These brown and olive laying sisters came from our frosted backcross line. #hatchingeggs #chiceggs

There is a 50/50 chance of brown or olive and most of those layers will also lay a heavy bloom. A heavy bloom brown can be even better than a heavy bloom olive, its all about preference.
